Whose Report? 2
But not all of them welcomed the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” Romans 10:16
Despite God’s faithful promise, many people have been deceived by a false report. They have been led astray by lies and deception. The truth is, if you have been allowed to be deceived, then remember that you are responsible for giving an account of what you have done. Because being ignorant is not acceptable in the court of law.
In Adam and Eve’s days, everyone receives their judgment, including the serpent that started the chaos. Eve believed someone’s report, aside from her husband’s report, that the Lord gave them to live by in the garden. Believing a new report, she caused a whole generation of humanity a lot.
Deuteronomy 1:31-32 says, “In the wilderness, where the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, all the way by which you traveled until you reached this place.” But despite all this, you did not trust the LORD your God.”
The Word of God, the sure word of hope, has been handed over to us to meditate and live by. But it is unfortunate that many still succumb to the lies of hell and the devil’s deceit. Maybe we need to remember and be aware that we are in an informative world. Information flies like the air that blows.
One of the reasons we have the scripture written as inspired by the Holy Ghost is to guide us every day, and in fact, every moment of living. We are to dispel and discard every report and information that is contrary to the word of God. Believe God and believe His report through the testimony of the Word of God that says Yes and Amen. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “God breathes out all Scripture and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and training in righteousness.”
Prayer:
1. Oh Lord, help my unbelief in any of your words.
2. Mark 9:23 “If You can?” echoed Jesus. “All things are possible to those who believe!”
