“So, I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.” Psalm 63:4
Yes, I will praise You, Lord. These words are a commitment to honor God regardless of our circumstances. Embracing this mindset requires faith and trust in His unchanging nature. The same God who has never failed us in the past will not fail us now. In moments of waiting and uncertainty, remember that God’s timing is perfect, and He is working all things out for your good.
Let’s re-consider the story of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:25-26. They were imprisoned yet chose to sing hymns and pray to God. Despite their dire situation, they praised the Lord with unwavering faith. Suddenly, an earthquake shook the prison’s foundations, opening the doors and loosening their chains. Their commitment to praise God led to a miraculous breakthrough.
Psalm 147:1 says, “Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.”
In Isaiah 41:10, we are told, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” Even when our hearts are heavy, or we find ourselves in life’s lowest valleys, lifting up praises can transform our outlook. Romans 8:28 assures us, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.”
So let’s declare together: Yes, I will lift You high at all times; Yes, I will bless Your name through every season; Yes, I will sing for joy despite my burdens because my hope rests in You alone. For all my days—to praise you continuously—is my heart’s desire. Amen. Psalm 22:23 says, “You who fear the Lord, praise him! All you offspring of Jacob, glorify him, and stand in awe of him, all you offspring of Israel!” Amen.
Prayer for the day!
May God’s praise continually be in your mouth, uplifting your spirit and guiding your steps. Just as the Psalmist says in Psalm 34:1, I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. I pray for you that this promise becomes a constant reality in your life. May your heart overflow with gratitude, and may each word you speak reflect His goodness and mercy. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
