You are a Winner from the Start! Part Two
“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it.” Genesis 1:26
In Genesis 1:27, as we continue, the Bible says, “So God created human beings in his image. He created them in God’s image; male and female, he created them.” God has given us a winning starting point simply by creating us in his image. We are each designed with incredible potential and a unique role in this world. All we need to do is believe in ourselves and start living out our God-given destiny.
You are a winner because you are created in the image of God. You can do great things because you were designed for it. God has a plan for your life, so always remember Him through His word. “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day Christ Jesus comes.” Amen. (Philippians 1:6). You are not in this alone. God will continue to work in you until the day you meet Jesus. So don’t give up; keep moving forward and stay faithful. You are destined for greatness!
In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
When God created humankind, He did so with the intention of us being winners, and He did not create us to be losers. Many passages of scripture talk about God’s love and desire for humankind to be winners. In Jeremiah 1:5, God says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” This is just one example of how God created us to be successful and live a good life. Therefore, don’t give up on your dreams or whatever God calls you to do because you are close to victory.
It does not matter what you are going through in the middle of the journey of life; God will help you through your tough times and make you stronger. He wants you to be victorious, not defeated. When God created you, He did so with the intention of you being winners. He did not create you to be a loser. So, you can trust in Him to help you through anything you face in life. So, strive to be winners in everything you do by following God’s plan for your life. Amen. 1 John 5:4 says, “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” Amen.
