You are Not Alone! 2
“The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8
There is grace in weakness, and God will help us through whatever we are going through. God will give us the strength to overcome our weaknesses, loneliness, and troubles. We believe God will provide us with a way out of this situation if we continue to trust him. He will never leave us alone.
I remember another man’s story in the fire that king Nebuchadnezzar exclaimed in Daniel’s book, chapter 3. The story was about the three Hebrew men named Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who refused to worship the golden statue as the King commanded. When the king heard of this, he commanded that they be thrown into the fiery furnace, heated seven times hotter than normal.
Joshua 1:9 says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Of course, king Nebuchadnezzar questioned their faith before throwing them into the fiery furnace, but they informed the king that God would deliver them from the burning furnace. They were then led to the place where they would be burned, but instead of being burnt, Jesus appeared in the fire with them. When the king saw the drama in the furnace, he exclaimed that there is another man in the fire “like a son of God.”
Yes, you heard it right. You are not alone! God is with you and knows all things. He has sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to save you from your oppression, rejection, disappointment, pain, failure, sickness, fear, and sudden death. Jesus has gone before you to conquer your fears, overcome your troubles, and defeat the devil. Even though you are faced with some of the greatest challenges of your life, remember that you are not alone. Psalm 91:3 says, “Surely God will deliver you from the snare of the Fowler, and the deadly plague.” in Jesus name Amen.
Prayer:
1. Father, I thank you for my salvation through Christ, who saved me from the sting of sin.
2. Psalm 141:9 “Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.”
