YOUR EXTRA OIL! 2
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. Matthew 25:4
To be successful in life is to be prepared for the unexpected. You must be prepared for the opportunity when it presents itself. You must prepare for the opportunity when it comes to your job or career. The chances of success will increase when you are well-prepared.
When you do things, approach them with all diligence such that it will be unique. As an entrepreneur, the way you communicate and treat your clients should be top-notch, and that’s the extra oil that can boost your sales. As a student, the more you learn about the world around you, the better equipped you will be to deal with any challenges that come your way.
As a student, you didn’t relax when it’s time to study, but you take action. You are always searching to know more even when others are satisfied, but your result will reveal who you are and what you have gotten that’s extraordinary. You shouldn’t always stop where everyone had finished. You must ask God for more grace and strength to do things better every time you are assigned to some tasks.
“Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15.
Are you a minister, teacher, or preacher of the word of God? 2 Peter 1:10 says, “brethren, give the diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall away.” You can only receive the extra oil to function daily when following Christ diligently without conforming to the world. Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God is.”
Oh! Lord almighty, anoint me with the oil of Gladness to stay above all adversary in Jesus’ name. Psalm 45:7
