Your Lamentation is Over!
“Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! 1 Chronicle 4:10
Jabez was a man that has been in agony and sadness right from birth. He summons the courage to present his difficulty, status, and background before God. And suddenly, life took a different shape for good. Even if you have not seen such an individual, rest assured that no condition is permanent.
You may be facing the worst of life; situations may have clothed you with sadness and bitterness of heart, but know that your ugly situation will change for good because God has the final say. Jabez was found more honorable than his brothers in his kindred, but his mother gave him the name “Jabez” because she gave birth to him in pain and sorrow. He acknowledges the mighty power of God to change his story.
1 John 5:14 says, “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”
If Jabez could call on the God of heaven to bless him and enlarge his coast and keep him from all evil, and God blessed him and answered his prayer, then there is a blessing to everyone whom someone else’s misfortune has ever hurt. If you have ever felt like you are not good enough for your family, friends, or community, then it is time to present your case before God for the change that will wow people around you.
God has the sensational success that will bring you the blessings that you need if you believe. No matter what the pain, no matter what the circumstance, remember there is always an answer to all situations in God. But you must present your case with boldness, grace, and faith as Jabez did, and God will turn it into a blessing in Jesus’ name. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
1. Matthew 6:9; My heavenly Father, I give you praise, and I honor your name above everything.
2. Oh Lord, I come to you with my disabilities, with my disadvantages, turn them into abilities and advantages in JESUS name.
