Your Self-Esteem Matter!

Your Self-Esteem Matters!

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Psalm 139:14

You are everything you think you are, and you can only attract what you are. The Bible says that “for as he thinks in his heart, so is he” proverbs 23:7. Many of us deal with low self-esteem, and that road can be very destructive because anyone with low self-esteem will have negative thoughts about themselves most of the time. They will not see themselves as a good person or someone that deserves good things in life.

This lifestyle will affect their relationships and networks. It is hard for someone with low self-esteem to have a good relationship because they are pessimistic about everything. Whenever something good comes their way, they do not see themselves as deserving, so they feel it is not meant for them. As a result, they find it hard to feel loved. This is why people with low self-esteem tend to get depressed, unhappy, or aggressive with little things in life.

Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

God created us in His image and has made us beautiful. You need to deal with your low self-esteem, work on yourselves and see yourself the way God sees you. Know that God is beautiful, and so you are beautiful. God has placed everything you need in you, so you are full of great potentials. You need to confess to yourself that you are enough, you are made in God’s image, and you are the apple of His eye.

You need to move with the right set of people who have a great and positive mindset. The people you walk with will influence your life greatly. You have to walk and work with the people that see themselves the way God sees them. Be determined to improve your self-esteem by starting each day with positive and mind-lifting confessions. Listing to good worships songs that lift your soul, and do not be lazy. Remember, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Galatians 1:15 says, “But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by His grace, was pleased.”

Prayer:
1. I am enough; I deserve great opportunities and God’s good gifts.
2. Psalm 71:5; “O Lord, you alone are my hope. I’ve trusted you, O LORD, from childhood.”
