A Little While!
“They kept asking, “What does he mean by ‘a little while’? We don’t understand what he is saying.” John 16:18
Good news for you as you go out today; in a little while, you shall be … Can you kindly fill in those words that you felt impossible? Because, in a little while, it shall be done. Welcome to a new day as the Lord has ordained, and with the assurance that He has ordained today, I wish to let you know that in a little while, your joy shall overflow.
As a believer, you have to be hopeful and fully persuaded of God’s will, which is the key to open the door that is before us. Paul spoke about three strong pillars of the Christian walk, and one of them is hope. Hope, to a believer, shouldn’t be abstract like you know in English.
Hope lays the foundation and supporting pillar that helps us hold to our faith. Hebrew 11:1 says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” That tells you that the house you desire to build is hope; the children you desire to have is hope; the life you desire to live is hope.
Start your day with positive hope in Christ, then follow with a spiritual tendency of faith to form the dream into reality. Look at your life with a new perspective in Christ, knowing that you have a blessed hope which God will bring into overflowing measures. Remember, “we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18.
1. Thank you, Jesus, because you are my only hope.
2. Oh! Lord, uproot hope of failure habits prevalent in my life in the name of Jesus.
3. I invite you Jesus to abide in me and I in you because my branch cannot bear fruit without you
