Building Your Faith in the Unseen!
“But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.” Romans 8:25
When life gets tough, it can be easy to lose faith. We may feel that God has abandoned us or doesn’t care about our struggles. But it’s important to remember that we can’t always see what God is doing in our lives. Just because we don’t understand His plan doesn’t mean He isn’t there. However, it’s often during the darkest times that we see His light shining the brightest. So why should we have faith in the unseen?
First, because God is always faithful, he never leaves us or forsakes us, even when things are tough. Secondly, because His ways are higher than ours, he knows what’s best for us, even when we don’t. And finally, through faith, we receive strength and hope. Moreover, the ability to have faith in things that we cannot see is a cornerstone of Christianity. It is also a key human trait that helps us to believe in something bigger than ourselves. Finally, this capacity for faith allows us to hope for things that we may never experience in our lifetimes.
2 Corinthians 4:18 says, “As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the unseen things are eternal.”
Faith in the unseen gives us the strength to keep going when all seems lost. Faith allows us to see the beauty in life, even when the world around us is dark and difficult. Faith in things we cannot see separates the winner from the loser. Other faiths may teach that we can only have faith in things we can see. But as Christians, we must have faith in God, even if we cannot see Him. This is because we have evidence that He exists. Therefore, keeping faith is important when life gets tough and things seem impossible. Even if there’s nothing to believe in, have hope that things will get better.
When doubt creeps in, remind yourself of all the times you’ve overcome adversity. Be patient and wait for the good times ahead. They will come eventually. When we put our hope in God, we are putting our trust in Him. We are saying that even though we cannot see the future, we know that He has a plan for us. However, this takes much faith, but it is so worth it. When things are tough, and we don’t know what to do, God is always there for us. He will never leave us or forsake us. Hebrews 11:6 says, “And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Amen.
Prayer:
Oh Lord, help me to walk by faith in what I cannot see and endow me with insight and passion in your word in Jesus’ name. Amen.
