Waiting on the Lord before investing in a business is like waiting for the perfect wave to surf- it may take patience and perseverance, but when the right opportunity comes, you’ll be able to ride it with success. As a Christian entrepreneur, waiting upon the Lord is crucial before making investment decisions. It is not enough to have a great business idea or opportunity; one must seek God’s will for confirmation and direction. Waiting on the Lord helps ensure that we align with His plans and purposes for our lives.

Waiting upon the Lord is an act of faith and trust in His divine timing. It requires patience, humility, and surrendering our desires and plans to Him. When we wait upon the Lord, we position ourselves to receive wisdom, clarity, and supernatural guidance that can only come from God. This approach also helps us avoid costly mistakes that could negatively impact our business. Therefore, be patient, trust His direction, and watch as He blesses your investment. Trust in the Lord, and He will lead the way. Patience brings forth a great reward.

Psalm 32:8-9 says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. Therefore, be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding, which must be curbed with bit and bridle, or it will not stay near you.”

Remember, the best investment you can make is in your faith in God. So, trust the process and have patience, and watch as God elevates your journey. Amen. In Psalm 32:8-9, we read that God promises to guide and instruct us on how to go. Therefore, don’t be tempted to rely solely on your abilities and resources because Investing in a business without waiting on the Lord is like building a house on sand- it may seem strong at first, but without a solid foundation rooted in faith and trust, it will quickly crumble.

However, if we wait upon the Lord before laying down our gold and sword – that is, if we seek His guidance before making major decisions or investments – then we can trust that He will bless our efforts. This doesn’t mean that success will come easily or quickly; rather, it means that as we faithfully follow God’s leading, He will provide for us and direct our paths. Ultimately, being patient and trusting in God’s direction requires a deep faith in His goodness and sovereignty. So, be still and know that He will guide you—trust in the Lord’s plan, and you will be rewarded. Amen. Proverbs 16:9 says, “We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.” Amen.
