Eyes of Understanding!

Eyes of Understanding!

“We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the word of life.” 1 John 1:1

When the faith’s doctrines seem to be old-fashioned, and everyone is whoring after the worldly things, when staying at home rule binds every association and gatherings, what do you see amidst all of this? Are you seeing the love of Christ that surpasses all things or the riches and pleasures the devil has to offer?

This is to stir up all who profess to know God, communion with Him, and believe in Him. Those that walk-in holiness but showing that a mere outward profession is nothing. Apostle John, in his days, when a social pandemic as this occurs, where the fall of Jerusalem had taken place and the faith of sons and daughters of God was being put on trial. Yet, he was still testifying the gospel of God.

Acts 4:20 says, “For we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

The spirit of God does not only want to present in us but to be at work within us. This is a crucial time where Christ needs us the most; this is a time of selection; know whom you have believes and hold on to him firmly. The level of immorality these days is so high that even the called righteous are becoming tempted to turn away from what they believed. Sin becomes commonized that nothing worth bringing into the documentation.

The scripture states clearly that even the elect might be deceived; therefore, there is a need for true believers to look upon that which is eternal and not temporary. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, “while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

Prayer
1. Father, give me the grace to see you amidst all difficulties and challenges, knowing that you are working all things together for my good.
2. Let the eyes of my understanding be enlightened in the name of Jesus. Amen
