The second thing we can count on in life’s storm is that God sees us. In life’s storm, we can always find comfort in knowing that God sees us. Just as Jesus saw His disciples battling against the crashing waves while He sought solace on a mountain to pray, God is fully aware of our struggles and difficulties. We are never forgotten or abandoned; His watchful eyes are constantly upon us (Matthew 14:24-25).
Navigating through life’s treacherous storms, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the pounding waves of adversity crashing against us. But amidst it all, remember this: you are not a weak swimmer struggling alone. With Jesus by your side, you become a resilient sailor equipped to face even the fiercest tempests. At times, it may feel like the world is against you like the raging winds want nothing more than to toss you about mercilessly. But take comfort in that God’s presence remains steadfast and unwavering. He is there to guide you through every twisting current and turbulent swell.
Genesis 28:15 says, “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”
In those moments when doubt creeps in, reminding yourself of your divine connection can provide an anchor of strength. You have Jesus standing beside you, ready to reach out His hand and pull you back up if ever you slip beneath the relentless waves. Though adversity might threaten to test your resolve and shake your faith down to its very core, remember that with God’s eternal presence encompassing your being, there is nothing that can permanently drown your spirit. So when you encounter life’s stormy seas, hold tight to the knowledge that God sees you.
Remember, with Jesus as your lifeline, be courageous enough to weather any tempest that comes your way – for within each storm lies an opportunity for growth and transformation. As a resilient sailor navigating through life’s storms with unwavering faith in God’s watchful gaze, embrace each challenge as a chance to deepen your trust in His guidance and love. And know that no matter how fierce the waves may crash against you, you are never alone. Amen. Psalm 23:4 says, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Amen.
