How to Make Your Ordinary Day Extraordinary! Part Two

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

How often do we go through the motions of our day-to-day lives without really living? We wake up, go to work or school, come home, eat dinner, watch TV and go to bed. Rinse and repeat. It’s easy to get stuck in a rut and forget that each day is a gift from God. But what if we changed our perspective and decided to make every day extraordinary? What if we looked at each day as an opportunity to appreciate the goodness of God in our lives and others? Remember, this day is from the LORD, and it should be marvelous in our eyes (Psalm 118:23).

When we start each day to live in goodness and enjoy the blessings of God, our ordinary days become extraordinary. We begin to see the beauty in everyday moments and the people around us. God has given us each day as a gift. It is up to us to make the most of it. We can choose to exist day by day, or we can choose to live life to the fullest. When we truly appreciate each day, we open ourselves up to all the possibilities that God has in store for us. We never know what surprises or blessings await us.

Deuteronomy 30:19 says, “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life so that you and your children may live.”

You choose life by making an effort to make each day extraordinary; we are showing God that we are grateful for His gifts and ready to receive more. When we make a conscious effort to add a bit of joy and meaning to our everyday lives, we can find that our ordinary days become extraordinary. Psalm 118:24 reminds us, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” So, let’s celebrate every day, knowing God has given us a special gift to enjoy.

Brethren, let’s make today extraordinary! Each day is a new day, a fresh start, and a gift from God. He has given us new grace and new opportunities to do His will and serve Him. We should rejoice and be glad every day, knowing that it is a gift from God and that He has a plan for us. We should not take one day for granted but rather use it to honor God and to do what is right in His sight. Let us always be grateful for the wonderful gift of each day, and let us use it to further the Kingdom of God. Amen. Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Amen.
