If it were to be Possible!
“When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices; And when the wicked perish, there is jubilation.” Proverbs 11:10
Today’s Bible verse described people’s reactions toward the wicked and the righteous. People rejoice when things go well with the righteous; when things go well with them in spiritual matters, they grow in gifts and grace; the humble hear of it and rejoice; the church of God, the communion of saints, rejoice because things went well with them. So when paganism was destroyed and persecution ended during Constantine’s reign, and when the pure gospels were resurrected during the reformation, the city rejoiced.
Can we have that day again, please? When the church rises to its feet and assumes legislative roles. When the kingdom is given to the saints of the highest order, the world’s kingdom becomes the Lord. When the church used to stand for truth, morality, and justice, they used to be a voice for the voiceless and a refuge for the broken-hearted. When the church used to be relevant to the people, meet the needs of the people, and be respected by all people; because it is a place of Holy, healing, and hope. Nevertheless, God said He is coming to reward everyone according to their worth.
Revelation 22:11-12 says, “Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.” “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me to repay everyone for what he has done.”
However, if the church can fully return to its place of authority, I am sure there will be rejoicing in the church in heaven, and new songs will be sung. Because It is time for the church to return to its rightful place of authority. It is time for the church to reassert its values and regain society’s respect. We cannot allow the church to mix with the world, which diminishes its value because God is coming with Judgement very soon. According to Malachi 4:1, “For the day is coming, and it will burn like a furnace when all the arrogant and those who commit wickedness will be reduced to ash. “The coming day will consume them, leaving no root or branch,” declares the LORD of Hosts.
It is time for the church to return to its rightful place of authority. It is time for the church to reassert its values and regain society’s respect. Because today is the polar opposite: the so-called righteous are filthy and commit sinful acts. It’s heartbreaking when there’s no difference between appointing wicked people to strategic positions and appointing the righteous, but that era is coming to an end, and the righteous will rise again. Isaiah 60:21 says, Your people shall all be righteous; they shall possess the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I might be glorified.”
1. Father, we pray that our days be filled with good deeds and fruitful interactions with people.
2. Oh Lord, let the Sun and Rain of Righteousness descend upon us so that we may mature into holy calves of the stall. Amen.
