Let not Your Heart Be Troubled.

Let not Your Heart Be Troubled.

Jesus said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well.” John 14:1

There is always a passing-through, even Jesus passed through the wilderness and never grumbled nor murmur. It only takes a grateful heart that recognizes God’s mercy and mighty capacity not to grumble while in the wilderness. Irrespective of what you might be passing through, endeavor not to complain or murmur, God is capable!

Don’t allow your temporary state of affairs to discourage you about God-given talent. In 1 Samuel 4 The wife of Phinehas story, which covers just a few verses towards the end of 1 Samuel 4, where she was introduced as the daughter-in-law of Eli. She is about to give birth when she heard that the Ark of God had been captured by the Philistines. She dies in childbirth, and calls her son “Ichabod,” saying, “The glory has departed from Israel.” In other word, “NO GLORY.”

I understand that the Glory of God is essential in every life, home, city, and nation. The Ark of God belongs to God, and God knows why it was captured. Whatever happens to you in this life, remember it happened for a reason. There is nothing wrong with you. However, if you are not careful, you will be tempted to complain, grumble, lost control, and sin against God.

Rick Warren said, “What happens outwardly in your life is not as important as what happens inside you. Your circumstances are temporary, but your character will last forever.” Therefore, don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God; also believe in Jesus Christ. He is the only one who can save you from all kinds of troubles and problems that comes your way.

Do not allow circumstances oppressed you to the extent that you will destroy that God-given talent or gift that you are being carried for so long, and few minutes to deliver it, you change your mind. The devil is not playing; he is a roaring lion, looking for whom he may devour. He is ready to waste every given talent that God deposited in you if you allow him. He had tried it with Jesus, he failed. With Christ in you, he will fail again. Therefore, hold on to Jesus, the author, and finisher of faith. John 1:4 says, “In Him was life, and that life was the light of everyone.” Amen
