Lifehack: With Virtue, Add IQ (Knowledge)! Part Four

“Give me wisdom and knowledge that I may lead these people, for who can govern these great people of yours?” 2 Chronicles 1:10

As King Solomon once asked in 2 Chronicles 1:10, “Give me now wisdom and knowledge.” Likewise, we must recognize that by gaining a better understanding of the world and its mechanics, we can access deeper levels of spiritual proficiency. Because seeking to become partakers of the divine nature or fulfill our calling is an immense task that requires us to challenge ourselves and increase our knowledge continually. He knew he needed wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to fulfill God’s call.

Intelligence Quotient is like a pulse rate. It reflects the capacity of a person to learn and understand things quickly. That’s why God desires us to be wise and thoughtful, according to Proverbs 1:1-33. Intelligence Quotient impacts our daily decision-making, problem-solving skills, and overall life goals. Intelligence Quotient can be improved by engaging in physical and mental activities such as reading or other things that help stimulate the brain. So, “Make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;” (2 Peter 1:5). Likewise, I encourage you to strive for greater wisdom to make more informed decisions as you go through life.

Proverbs 22:17-18 says, “Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise–apply your mind to my knowledge. For it is pleasant if you keep them within you; Let them all be fixed upon your lips.”

Most people would agree that having a higher IQ would lead to a better life. While many things contribute to a good life, intelligence is one of the most important (2 Peter 1:1-11). After all, intelligence allows us to learn, understand, and make the most of our lives. And with the right guidance, it can be attainable. According to God’s plan, certain biblical practices can help increase one’s intelligence quotient. One such practice involves using the ten commandments to guide one’s daily life. The commandments provide instruction on how to lead an ethical lifestyle involving respecting yourself and others.

The ten commandments are like a roadmap for life. They provide direction, helping us make wise decisions to reach our destination safely and successfully. This helps foster positive thinking and reduces stress levels which are beneficial for mental clarity and focus. Additionally, it sharpens one’s problem-solving skills by prompting them to think of new solutions rather than resorting to negative thoughts or giving up easily when faced with a challenge. Another practice that can increase IQ is prayer and meditation. So take part in God’s plan to fulfill the purpose of life. Amen. Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is everyone’s duty.” Amen.

Prayer:
1. Oh Lord, I ask for your guidance and strength, but more than anything else, I ask for Wisdom from Above.
2. May the Lord give you the peace of mind to make good decisions and to know that He will take care of everything around you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
