Mighty Power at Work Within Us!

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3.20

God’s power at work within us is something truly remarkable. As stated in Ephesians 3:20, the power of God within us is limitless and unstoppable. This power is like a tiny seed that has the potential to grow into something magnificent. When we allow God to work in our lives, we can tap into this incredible source of strength and guidance. The key to unleashing this mighty power lies in our ability to surrender ourselves fully to God’s will. We must let go of our desires and trust that God has a greater plan for us.

Through prayer and meditation, we can open ourselves up to the transformative power of His love. As we begin to embrace this divine energy, we will find ourselves capable of accomplishing things beyond our wildest dreams. We will discover new depths of courage, resilience, and perseverance that were previously untapped. Of course, the message of Jesus Christ, a man raised from the dead, never to die anymore, is of power, triumph, and divine splendor. Throughout the scriptures, God had always announced the message of His love with power.

Romans 16:25 says, “Now to Him who is able to strengthen you by my gospel and by the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery concealed for ages past.”

By triumphing over circumstances that defy human logic and explanations, we see Him do His work among humankind. Reading the exploit of Moses, of Joshua, the prophets, the four gospels, the Acts, and even men of God in contemporary history seems to always defy man’s imagination. That’s why they are called miracles! Miracles! It’s how God announces Himself. When seemingly hopeless situations are turned around, know the Father is at work; his angels are carrying out the instructions of His words. Perhaps much more mind-boggling is to know that the same power responsible for all the wonders you’ve read and believed in scriptures is at work in you.

The writer of Hebrews clearly affirms Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13.8). He has never changed, and He is still working His will out in the world. If scriptures say God’s power is at work in us who believe, then how can we exercise the same? Note what Paul teaches ‘Him that is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, and above all that we ask or think.’ First, the reality of God’s power at work in us must transcend every other perception and idea we have in the form of authority or circumstances. And we must know that the most irreversible human limitations cannot compare to God’s power. Amen. Isaiah 26:4 says, “Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” Amen.

Prayer:
1. I affirm today that God’s power is mightily at work in me. It supersedes every challenge and problem.
2. Holy Spirit, help me lay hold on God’s powers within me to bring about a solution to my world in Jesus’ name. Amen.
