“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13
May the LORD lift His countenance toward you and give you peace in Jesus’ name (Numbers 6:26). Amen. I do understand that we all have our reasons why we should quit life’s challenges. But do you know that if you are willing to persevere, you will achieve your goals?
Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. It is not about what others think or say. It is about what you believe in and how much faith you have in God. You cannot give up when things get hard. If you want to succeed in life, you must persevere. Perseverance is one of the keys to success. It is the only way to achieve your goal and make our light shine in the darkness so that our Father in heaven will be glorified.
Matthew 5:16 says, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Our heavenly Father takes note of everything we do and does. But I am sure He gives great reward to all who perseveres. I am sure you have heard of this proverb: “anyone who perseveres will reap great rewards, but those who do not will reap little.” Therefore, there is a reward if you keep going, keep trying, and keep working hard.
Instead of quitting, ask God to give you strength and courage to persevere through as Jesus did when he was going through the crucifixion. It is okay to ask God to help you in your struggles, and if it is God’s will that you persevere, He will give you strength and courage to persevere through them and give you greater success in Jesus’ name. Amen. Proverbs 12:24 says, “The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.”
1. Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for giving me the strength and courage to persevere and endure the testing moment of life.
2. Oh Lord, my trust is in you; help me in time of trouble in Jesus’ name. Amen!
