Transforming Your Mind: Making God the Center! Part Two

“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.” John 5:30

Inviting God into your life is like inviting a wise and loving friend into your home. You can share the joys and sorrows of life knowing you have a comforting presence to turn to. In a world full of chaos and negativity, it’s easy to feel lost and directionless. However, transforming your mind and making God the center of your life can help you find purpose and peace. When you make God the center of your life, everything else falls into place. Your thoughts begin aligning with His truth, leading you towards positivity rather than negativity.

With God at the center of your life, you start seeing yourself through His eyes – as a beloved child of God with a unique purpose on this earth. You also become more compassionate towards others as you see them as fellow children of God. Making God the center of your life is not just a religious thing. It’s about acknowledging that there is something greater than ourselves and living our lives to honor Him. John 16:13 says, “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.” This means we must listen to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to lead us in every decision.

Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what the will of God is, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

When we keep God at the center of our lives, we are reminded that everything we do should be done for His glory. As a result, we are able to see ourselves as part of His story instead of trying to write our own. This perspective helps us stay grounded and focused on what truly matters in life. That’s why as I sit back and ponder over my life’s journey, I can’t help but be grateful for the presence of God in every space. He has been my constant guide through the ups and downs, giving me the strength to navigate life’s uncertainties. Surrendering to thee with all my life has proven to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

One thing that stands out is how God commands my attention above all else. In a world where distractions abound, getting caught up in things that don’t matter is so easy. But when we surrender our lives entirely to Him, his voice becomes louder than any other sound around us. As a result, we become more attuned to His leading and are better able to discern what truly matters. Amen. John 10:28 says, “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand.” Amen.

Prayer:
1. Psalm 19:14 “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, my Rock, and my Redeemer.”
2. May the Lord redeem your soul from every battle of disappointment at the edge of breakthrough, failure, and depression that are waged against you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
