You May Not Understand Now! Part Three

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

Once, I met a young woman who had enrolled in a challenging computer programming course. She struggled with the complex concepts and felt like she would never catch up to her classmates. I encouraged her to keep pushing forward, even though she may not understand everything now. Months later, she developed a groundbreaking software program that transformed how data was analyzed in her field. Looking back, she realized that not understanding everything initially was simply part of the journey toward achieving something incredible.

If you’re struggling to find your way or everything feels overwhelming, it’s important to remember that even the greatest journeys begin with small, uncertain steps. You may not understand why things are happening as they are right now, but that’s okay. In times of confusion or doubt, it’s crucial to lean on your faith and trust that everything will fall into place in due time. As Proverbs 3:5 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, have faith, and keep moving forward.

Psalm 33:11 says, “The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the purposes of His heart to all generations.”

Even during moments of uncertainty, every step you take is progress toward a clearer path and a greater tomorrow. So don’t lose hope because everything you’re going through will make sense one day, and you’ll see how far those seemingly small steps have brought you. Keep persevering in pursuit of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, for the journey will lead to greater things. Believe that the best is still ahead of you, waiting to be revealed. Soon, you will gain clarity and insight into why God has led you along this particular path.

As Proverbs 19:21 says, Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but the Lord’s purpose prevails. This means that God’s purpose will ultimately prevail even when our plans seem unclear or challenging. Trust that there is a divine reason for the trials and lessons you encounter; they are all part of preparing you for what lies ahead. Keep faith and perseverance as your companions on this journey, knowing that each step forward brings you closer to understanding and fulfillment. Amen. Proverbs 16:9 says, “A man’s heart plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.” Amen.

Prayer for Today!
Oh Lord, grant me a discerning spirit that recognizes your fingerprints in every detail of my journey and a grateful heart that acknowledges your sovereignty. As I seek to behold wondrous things you are doing behind the scenes, grant me an unwavering faith that trusts in your perfect timing and plans. Thank you for allowing me to witness your marvelous works, both seen and unseen. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
