God is Always Speaking to Us! Part Two

“Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly. Psalm 85:8

God is always speaking to us through His word and His creation. We need to be still and listen. Sometimes it’s through a whisper, sometimes through a loud crash. But God is always speaking. We see His handiwork in the beauty of a sunset and hear His voice in the pages of Scripture. To know God, we must learn to listen for His voice in His creation and Word. He speaks to us about who He is, His love for us, and His plan for our lives.

Through creation, He reveals Himself as the powerful and loving Creator who knows and cares for us. His desire is for us to know Him and to have a relationship with Him. He speaks to us in many ways, but we often fail to listen. God’s word is a source of guidance and wisdom for believers. It can be interpreted differently, but ultimately it is a way for God to communicate with His people (John 8:47). Through studying the Bible, we can learn about God’s character and will for our lives (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to me, and I will answer you and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

Another way we can hear from God is through Prayer: When we pray, we speak to God, and He is saying to us. Prayer is a conversation between God and His children. We talk to God, and He speaks to us. When we pray, we are lifting our hearts and minds to God. We are opening ourselves up to His presence and guidance. Prayer is a way for us to express our needs and desires to God, and it is also a way for us to receive His wisdom and direction for our lives.

God is always speaking to us if we are willing to listen. We have to be quiet and pay attention. God speaks to us through our thoughts, dreams, desires, and imagination. But we often ignore these things because we’re too busy or distracted. If we want to hear from God, we must slow down and be still. We need to create space in our lives for God to speak. This can be done by spending time in nature, meditating, praying, or simply sitting in silence. When we try to quiet our minds and listen, we will hear God’s voice more clearly. Hebrews 3:15 says, “As it is said, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

Prayer:
1. I am grateful for your word and presence in my life. It has brought me peace and comfort knowing that you are leading me. I pray that I will always be open to hearing your voice and following your lead.
2. Psalm 5:3; Oh Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch.
